About Mike

Smile

Hey!

I imagine that if you are on this page you want to get to know me a little better – cool!

Well, my name is Michael (but Mike sounds cooler) and I am a pretty average human being; I eat, I sleep, I work a 9-to-5, and do pretty much everything a normal human being does.

However, life really confuses me:

Why do we do what we do?

Why do we live how we live?

Why do we feel fear?

Why are we insecure?

What really is happiness?

Why do we never go to restaurants alone?

Why do we work 9 to 5?

Why are we stuck in jobs we don’t like?

Why don’t we all have our own businesses?

Why do we do things we don’t enjoy?

Why are some people incredibly rich yet depressed?

How are some really poor people incredibly happy?

Why do we get annoyed?

Why do we get stressed?

SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Simply put, life intrigues me, and InvincibleMentality is where I just share my thoughts and views on life, with a hope that it may help enlighten you, make you think about life, make you laugh,  who knows really…

I will probably contradict myself at some point… well that’s a lie, I already have and will contradict myself in the future simply due to the fact that I am not perfect and am constantly learning and evolving.

So Mike, why did you call this InvincibleMentality?

Well, funny story.

Originally when I started this website back in January 2016 the website was called Unigains; this was mainly a fitness site intended to help people get fittter and stronger and feel better about themselves.

Back then I literally thought I was better than everyone else: I thought I had a special mentality that other people simply didn’t have and my knowledge could help them feel ‘invincible’ like I did… yeah, I was really naive

Anyway, I ended up buying the domain invinciblementality.com to create a second website about how people can become the best version of themselves.

Soon after I realised that I did not actually really talk about fitness that much and spoke more about the mentality you need to be successful, not only in fitness, but in other aspects of life too. As a result I changed the blog to the infamous InvincibleMentality.com which you see today.

Now a few months later stuff happened (*insert sob story about break up – cue sad music and emotional video*) and it honestly transformed my life – but not in the way you would think.

It didn’t give me incredible amounts of motivation to become incredibly successfully and ripped or whatever;instead it made me realize that although I was pretty successful on the outside, emotionally I was an insecure wreck

Even though I got straight A*s and As throughout my high-school years, have a six-pack, can bench 100kg, can deadlift 220kg, can speak a foreign language fluently, have loving friends and family, and am on a career path at 19 which people dream of getting, I was still a mess emotionally.

The above inspired me to change the meaning and feel of invinciblementality.com – from not only talking about how to be successful on the outside but on the inside too – that is the core of everything.

“No matter how pretty your house looks on the outside, if it is built on a rubbish foundation it will eventually crumble.”

-Michael Tawiah, 2016 (lol)

So yeah, that’s the inner meaning behind InvincibleMentality.com, and my soppy life story.

I hope this gave you a little bit of insight behind me – here are a few other random facts: I like tennis. I think Beyonce and Nicole Scherzinger are beautiful human being. I can speak Italian. I love skiing. I lived in 3 different countries. I flat out openly love Michael Buble (his voice = love) and fully rate Justin Bieber. I love pizza. I can play piano (Grade 7). I can do a human flag (kinda). I really love pizza. I was born on the 17th January 1997. I have a sister who is a lot smarter than me. I really really love pizza. I think I can sing but really can’t. I dream of living a life where I can just go skiing and snowboarding whenever I want. I have 2 eBooks, a training course, and other services I offer. I once could speak a bit of Mandarin, and in 2016 I really liked to dab.

Oh, and did I mention I really really really really like pizza?
