I know what you are probably thinking –

‘MIKE! WHY THE F*** ARE YOU RECOMMENDING YOUR COMPETITORS?’

It is a bit unusual, especially since I am not even hating on it but recommending it. However, I do not know everything, and would be damn right deceitful if I tried to say I did. My ambition is to help you guys out to transform your body and mind, and if it means referring you to someone else for some guidance, then so be it.

What is NerdFitness?

Nerd Fitness is a fitness website aimed at, yeah you guessed it, nerds… well not entirely.

The website is aimed at your typical person who would not expect to see in the gym. Basically, the girls and guys who have no interest in a bodybuilding or fitness model lifestyle, but just want to be a little leaner, fitter, and healthier.

The creator, Steve Kamb, goes about this is a very relatable and fun way; he uses video games such as Zelda and references to Star Wars to make it relatable:

His approach is simply refreshing; it is not full of the typical fitness jargon which most fitness blogs try and fool you to buy their supplements or workout programs. Steve keeps it simple, and that is what I preach; simple and straightforward.

I am such a big fan of Steve and Nerd Fitness as he really helped me get my fitness journey on the right track, both physically and mentally. Similar to UNIGAINS, Steve does not focus on the complexities to fitness, but more so on how to get up off your ass and do at least something to become a little bit fitter or leaner or stronger than you were yesterday.

Another great thing about Steve and Nerd Fitness is that he does not make you feel shit about your body. Unlike a lot of fitness websites, you do not feel that if you do not have a ripped six-pack then you are a failure. Of course, it is perfectly fine for it to be an ambition, however with Nerd Fitness there is no false hope when  it comes to how long it takes to results. Steve is all about becoming a better version of yourself, and that is all that matters.

The transformations at nerdfitness.com show normal people achieving realistic results, and it is really motivating to see how your typically Joe go about making extraordinary transformations. They do not promote some supplement or some ‘magic formula’, but simply detail how they went about making their transformation. An amazing transformation was from Joe, who lost 58kg (128lbs) over 10 months, and tells Steve exactly how he did it.

So yeah, I like Nerd Fitness. They keep it real and realistic, and it has been one of my go-to sites for general fitness and lifestyle for years. Steve is a cool and down-to-earth guy and simply wants to help you guys out.

If you are near the start of your fitness journey and are looking for some guidance to help you off, then I strongly suggest you add Nerd Fitness to your list of go-to websites, as they are just normal people helping other normal people to improve themselves physically and mentally.
