How To Control Your Future

michael jordan

I was reading a quality book called ‘Burn the Bull S**t‘ by Steven Doran, and he quoted a really inspiring quote:

“You can either be a creature of circumstance, or a creature of circumstance.”

Amen. A motherfudging men.

I think we forget sometimes just how much power each of us has – we blame a lot on external circumstances and just leave it like that, without trying to do anything to change our position.

Imagine you wanted to be a basketball player, but got kicked out your high school team because you weren’t good enough. Now for a lot of us, that’s it; we would give up and accept that we weren’t capable of becoming a basketball player…

But not for Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time.

He got kicked out of his high school team because he wasn’t good enough, but instead of giving up, he used that as pure fire to create his own circumstance to achieve his dream of being an NBA player. And what happened? He is now classed as the best basketball player of all time.

This just goes to show what you are capable of if you decide to take your destiny into your own hands.

Do not underestimate yourself – you are capable of greatness. Never forget that.

The 3 Best Mentality Books

Best Mentality Books

Here at Invincible Mentality I want you to become the best version of yourself.

I am always learning just like you guys, and wanted to share with you the 3 books which really helped inspire me on my journey to achieving an Invincible Mentality.

1) Burn The Bull Sh!t – Stephen Doran

Steven Doran is an entrepreneur, TV personality, and author. His book is filled with quotes and little life stories which simply make you conscious of how much you can achieve. Throughout the book there are chapter challenges which he sets for you to do which help train your brain to eliminate negativity and fear and prime yourself to achieve.

Honestly, I can’t describe how amazing this book is. The points he mentions are simply so obvious yet so many of us are completely oblivious to them – if you are looking to develop your Invincible Mentality then I highly suggest that Steve Doran’s Burn The Bull Sh!t is a book you need to read.

Go here to download this inspiring book – free on Kindle Unlimited or £4.99 otherwise

2. The Beginner’s Guide To Being Awesome – Brandon Carter

If you need the motivation to get up off your ass and move right now then this book is for you. I’ve spoken about Brandon Carter before on this site (twice) because he has been such a huge inspiration to me; his Youtube videos introduced me to fitness and helped lead me on the path which inspired me to want to learn and develop that Invincible Mentality to achieve amazing things, like getting abs, good grades, creating a computer program, and inspiring me to pursue my passion of becoming an entrepreneur.

Brandon gets straight to the point and cuts the rubbish – he tells like it is.

If you want to realize how much of a wuss you are acting go and read his book – free on Kindle Unlimited, or just £0.99 otherwise

3. The Unlimited Self – Jonathan Heston

This was a book which I felt really deeply connected to. This guy truly shared his heart and soul into this book; his struggles, emotions, and difficulties along his journey to developing and Invincible Mentality.

A lot of the time you here all of these motivational speakers saying ‘oh, just do this and you will have an awesome life!’ No. It does not work like that; it can be painful, a huge struggle, and scary as hell…  Jonathan really lets you know what it takes to truly become a better version of yourself.

You will be hooked to this book.

Get ‘The Unlimited Self’ here – free on Kindle Unlimited, otherwise only £0.99

Get inspired!

Are You Living The Life You Truly Want

my life not yours

Take a moment to think about what you are doing at the moment and what it will lead to in the future.

Now ask yourself this: What do you want?

Ask it again: What do you want?

Now a third time: What do you really want?

Too often in life we are not doing what we truly want, but instead are doing what we think we should be doing.

I fell into this trap: I was smart, got good grades, and liked maths – so obviously going into finance seemed like the right choice for me, and friends, family, and society in general made me believe this.

But then I took a step back and realised that it is not what I truly want. I want to be inspiring and helping people out, whilst being an entrepreneur – that is what I really want.

Are you walking on a path which is leading you astray because you’re following a route which society says you should take? Is it going to lead you to being happy and fulfilled? If not, remember that you don’t have to follow it – life is lived by you, and not anyone else.

It can be really tough sometimes when family try and pressure you to follow a certain route – most of the time it is out of love… but ultimately, they are not living your life… you are, so go and live it how you want.

Powerful Message To Learn From Brexit

Brexit

Short message to learn from the EU referendum:

Britain chose to leave the EU. We have decided as a nation to take a risk and dive into the unknown instead of staying in our comfort zone where things are alright, but could be better.

So the big question is: are you doing this in your life?

Are you staying in your comfort zone because you’re scared of the unknown? Are you scared to get out your mediocre life to take risks in order to live the life that you truly want?

Actions speak louder than words: today has shown that we are a country who want to take risks in order to live in a world of opportunity instead of fear.

Go out there and take risks in your life. Risk some time to dedicate to getting fitter. Risk some money in investing into a career path you truly want.

Sure, everything can turn sour, but life is too short to not take the chance.
